A flower-maiden. She was created from the flowers of oak, broom and meadowsweet by Math fab Mathonwy and Gwydion fab Dôn as a wife for Lleu Llaw Gygges.

Some authorities consider that Blodeuwedd was the original of Guendoloena, who is, in turn, considered by some as the forerunner of Guenevere.
