GLOIER
Gloyer
The King of Sorelois (Surluse) before the land was conquered—and Gloier killed—by Lord Galehaut. Gloier had inherited Sorelois from his father, King Loholt. After Gloier’s death, Gloier’s young children were orphaned, but Galehaut took care of them and betrothed a daughter to Galehodin, Galehaut’s nephew. Gloier’s uncle had been the King of Northumberland. Another of Gloier’s daughters was the queen of Chalon.
