GREIDAWL ENEMY-SUBDUER
Greidyawl
One of Arthur’s warriors and advisors in Welsh legend. He was the son of Enfael Adrann and the father of Gwythyr. A Welsh Triad tells us that his granddaughter, Gwenhwyfar, was one of Arthur’s three queens bearing that name. “Greidawl” may signify “passionate.”
