A region of west central France, in the province of Guienne. Arthurian legend says that, when Arthur quarrelled with Lancelot, Blamore de Ganis and Bleoberis both supported their father (Lancelot) in the dispute, Blamore de Ganis (Blanore of Gannes) being made the Duke of Limousin.
