Uncle of the Lady Helaés of Limos and the knight Clapor. He advised Lord Oriol, who conquered Helaés lands and fell in love with her, to defeat Gawain in order to win Helaés love. Oriol was unable to prevail against Gawain, and Meleagar's plan failed.
