A knight met by Gawain in the Second Continuation of Chrétien’s Perceval. He lived in a forest near the Black Chapel. The knight was “pensive” over his lady, who had been abducted by Sir Brun of the Heath. Gawain rescued the woman from Brun and returned her to the Pensive Knight.
