A king who ruled the Castle of Most Ill Adventure in the Norse Ivens Saga. To save his own life, he pledged thirty maidens per year to a giant named Fjallsharfir. Yvain slew the giant and saved him from the pledge. The character appears unnamed in Chrétien’s Yvain.
