One of Arthur's court cities, apparently located nine days' journey from the castle Brandigant. [Because of the possible otherworldly overtones of the Joy of the Court Phyllis Ann Karr aren't sure if to make those nine days as a geographically accurate marker.]

After the adventures with which he proved that marriage had not made him any less of a knight, Erec found King Arthur in Robais with 500 of his nobles, feeling distressed because he had so few at court.
