A forest in Nottinghamshire. Though more normally associated with that other famous and well-loved legendary figure Robin Hood, Sir Thomas Malory identifies the forest with that of Bedegraine, a forest that saw a major battle between Arthur and the eleven rebellious leaders at the start of his reign.
