A lake in Inglewood Forest, which formerly existed under High Hesket (Cumbria), south of Carlisle. Here, according to a ballad, Arthur was challenged by the Grim Baron of Castle Hewin with a great club to fight him or answer a riddle. Arthur chose the latter.
