VORTIGER

A son of King Vortigern, mentioned by Wace. He split with his father over his father’s relationship with the Saxons. Vortiger and the Saxon warrior Horsa killed each other at the battle of Aylesford. He is probably identical to Catigern, mentioned in other chronicles but not in Wace.
